A word on @Stuart Mitchell …
I managed to somehow get something corrosive on my Portland 120 to the point it marked the blade, it happened some months ago but it didn’t affect function it just looked a bit crap…
Totally my fault
I mentioned it in passing to Stuart and he requested the knife to inspect it
I then got sent a pic about an hour after he confirmed the blades arrival but with the mark perfectly ground away and the blade refinished and given a strop all FOC
I have mentioned before I’ll not buy anyone else’s blades having been bitten by some “makers”
This just re establishes my position
