Thinking outside the box there are a number of Richard Walker Mark IV type rods on eBay usually. Would it be possible to strip and re-handle and re-ring one of these? Also try Lane's in Coventry who may have "ready made" such a thing?

Yeah I was thinking Harrison blanks I’m getting 2 for carp and one for cats as I had cats on carp rods before and thought they were going to break

I have the Torix 12ft 6” 3.25lb I would confidently handle a 100lb cat on them no problem

Steve Parton who died in the mid 2000s made bespoke rods trading as Sparton. You may find such using those search words on internet auction sites?
