Northumberland Fishing next week

Off up to Northumberland next week for a much needed break. I grew up there so know the area but didn’t do much sea fishing up there as a kid. It’ll be a family trip so won’t be fishing overnight on sketchy rocky marks but worth chucking a rod in and a few lures or too early in the season?
