I like fishing at The North Shore at Llandudno but it gets cram packed with tourists, kayakers and fishermen at this time of the year when the weather is reasonable (Plus that damned Jet Boat can be a pain in the posterior) so I am looking at alternatives marks to fish in North Wales. I am thinking about Moelfre In Anglesea but I would like a little information before I go so if any of you guys know the area it would be very helpful.
I would like to target a few mackerel and hopefully a bass or two, all on spinners and lures - I'm not over keen on feathering for Mackerel even though I realise that it can be a very productive way to catch Mackerel and do feather for them occasionally.
I was thinking about any marks just to the West of the lifeboat Station where it is not too much or a rocky terrain as I am not as young and nimble as I used to be so I can not get about like a little mountain goat running up and down steep high cliffs.
The sort of information I would like is what marks can be most productive and what state of the tides for those marks. Also as I don't know the area information regarding what the parking situation is like and how to access the marks without having to face too long a hike to get to the fishing marks.
If anyone can help with any information that might help me I would be very thankful!
Thanks in advance guys!
