Dacia duster

Hi, I'm looking at getting a duster for my every day work car instead of using the pickup everyday. I was wondering how people are getting on using them as a stalking vehicle and if it's capable of getting multiple fallow in? Any pics would be good to as how they are kitted out.
Take a look at duster cool travels on YouTube for practical reviews of the duster 3 4x4. If only it had a diesel option and rims that would take BFG KO 2 tyres!

My other half got a 4x4 Duster 2 years ago, we live almost 1000m vert up a 15% hairpin road in the Austrian Alps. No problem getting two bikes in the back, it has never needed snow chains with winter tyres fitted and has been though some seriously deep snow. For my own car I recently spent £40 and bought a foldable indoor plant tray, about 1.5m each side with a 15cm raised edge. Great for laying deer down in and easy to pack away once home.

I had one on a new solar panel site at first it was good then as the site grow the ground got into a mess and it got stuck and I left it there it had 600 miles or less on the clock.
When the ground dried out we got it recovered and stuck on a set of steel wheels with BFG M&s that thing never got stuck again it was built like a bean tin but as strong as a SWB LR without the leaks.

Are there any boot liners that could also act as a carcass tray with both seats down. Or has anyone had one made..
I bought a full length one from the link below. It's lasted very well despite my best efforts to trash it. Easy 1 man lift.
You have to flip up the rear bench seat before folding down the backrests. This gives a flat load bed right up to the front seats.

That's a good idea thank you !

I had a Duster. It’s basically a tank and I drove it hard but: beware of spare parts. Mine had a wire fault and it took them 7 months to get the part!

Adding to this thread, having just ordered the 4x4 Extreme. Did anyone solve the problem of finding AT tyres (with or without new rims)? Also has anyone tried the Dacia OEM steel skid plate they sell as "engine protection"?

About AT tyres:

And about skid plates:

This guy has so many interesting things on channel, but it's domestic market for Dacia...

I bought new 16" wheels and fitted A\T tyres 225/70/R16. Reason being I wanted a higher and more robust sidewall. I only do farm tracks and fields off road so bought Cooper AT's. These give the same speedo reading, same MPG and are quieter on tarmac than the factory fitted all season tyres. They do not hit the under wheel arch.
Was going to get BFG A/T's but there is a newer version of BFG's coming out this year which are supposedly lighter, quieter and better in the rain, so I'm waiting.

Thank you. I did see his channel, and saw the wheel video - seems he still needed spacers. I found that skid plate in a google search, looks good.

Thank you, which rims were those? I would hope to avoid spacers.

I did not want spacers either. I went a bit up market and bought MSW alloys. 6.5x16 79 5x114 ET32.
Are those direct fit for the Duster 3 ?
Any problems with them with the tires fitted?
Have you got a link for the rims please?
Thank you!

I've owned four dusters now.
All 4x4 vehicles in UK come with a spare.
2x4 it's an optional extra. The 2x4 are capable off road also.
