Dacia duster

My son has just bought the Bigster and by jove what a vehicle that is.
I have a top of the range Discovery and the only thing I have on my vehicle that he doesn't is a sun roof.
40+ to the gallon as well and all for just less than £20k.
I've told him if he wants to visit me to park down the road so as not to show me up :)
He's a big lad and doesn't have any problem getting in or out too so it seems the vehicle manufacturer hasn't skimped an anything on the vehicle.

I thought I'd read that the boot floor pan was a different shape and not as deep on the 4x4 model. Maybe it was another 4x4 I was looking at while researching which one to buy🤔
The Duster III 4x4 floor pan is still the size that would take an emergency spare wheel. I have put 2 large plastic trays in mine for tow rope, first aid kit and other bits n pieces useful for high seat maintenance etc.

I bought new 16" wheels and fitted A\T tyres 225/70/R16. Reason being I wanted a higher and more robust sidewall. I only do farm tracks and fields off road so bought Cooper AT's. These give the same speedo reading, same MPG and are quieter on tarmac than the factory fitted all season tyres. They do not hit the under wheel arch.
Was going to get BFG A/T's but there is a newer version of BFG's coming out this year which are supposedly lighter, quieter and better in the rain, so I'm waiting.
Did you have to inform your insurance company about the new wheels and tyres? If so, may I ask how much this affected the premium by?
