I’ve always wanted a biathlon rifle for shooting rabbits, diopter sights and all 😂. No idea why I think it’s a great idea but I’ve always wanted one .

Any other daft idea you’ve tried or wanted to try ?

When I was young I used to hide out in hedgerows with a club hoping to ambush rabbits as well hahaha needless to say it never succeeded.

when we were young we watched Dirty Sanchez (Wales version of Jack Ass)

We copied them and throw sunflower oil all over our pig and used to chase after her. Great fun, not so great when she got bigger and chased us!

Oh my god that blast from past! We used to copy dirty Sanchez too. Worst one, group of us all tried to swallow massive spoonfull of flour each at same time. Urgh, thought I was dying!!

Make a pig thats able to lay eggs......the ultimate breakfast animal.

Might have to contact Elon or Colossal Biosciences, see if they can help out.

Reload 12 Gs with washed used LR primers to see how it patterns. Should not damage the bore them being either made of brass or brass then nickel plated.

I think I completed my list of bloddy silly things to do when I was still quite young TBH  Most were accomplished without injury to myself or others, but not all.

Had a schoolmate who, after one particular and never-to-be-repeated experiment wore a lovely, perfectly circular bruise on his forehead for about a week. You could clearly make out the percussion cap and the legend 'ELEY 12 ELEY 12' in the bruise

Made a bullet mold for my No.3 garden gun in the metal work class at school and cast some heads for it.
Removed the overcard and shot and pushed the newly formed head home.
Put a target on the fence, which I failed to hit through the smooth bored barrel, but did manage to put a keyhole through the fence and through a both sides of the neighbours green house, not sure a safe back stop came into the experiment at the age of 13 !!

The same greenhouse had also taken a direct hit from a catapult fired by my grandad, who promptly handed me the said catapult while he legged it.

I did use my .280 Ross Model 1905 "Highland Stalker's Model" for the 110 yard running deer once at Bisley. In October 1995 in an Historic Big Game Rifle Under 10.5mm Calibre Competition.. And came third place. Although I think that oddly there were only two competitors including myself!

The daft extension of that which I wanted to do was to shoot "Crossing (Light) Tank" at 100 yards using a Boyes Anti-Tank rifle. Sad to say that never came to anything.

However years later I did set up and many of us shot "Crossing (Light) Tank" from prone and using correct military period 10 yard miniature range targets, the last one I have below, on a pulley system so that they really were a crossing target and an old Slazenger Model 12 rifle in .22" Rimfire.
