Perhaps there may be a leather worker that would donate time, effort and a piece of tanned aardvark leather to make a pouch for JAK.
sh1kar perhaps you could cut a square out of one of your African animals, salt and bring home in case someone puts their hand up for a possible sheath job.
Btw that bottle above the colgate tube, is that lube ha ha .

Its the cost of transportation africa, tanning in SA, transport to uk, vets inspection bills, customs, then freight to home. A single say impala shoulder mount could cost well over $1000

Both excellent choices.
This could possibly open a can of worms as to which hide would be the most apt for JAK if it ever came to fruition beyond the blah blah lol. Gee we might have to set up a vote among the JAK list fraternity with KH as the casting vote if necessary....ah knife edge politics lol.
The pouch idea came about when I saw JAK nestled into sh1kar`s gun case.
Anyway for me its Zebra hide. (open to other hide offers if any have some )
Knowing OB David for so long I reckon that he would love a Badger hide pouch...true.
He bought a couple of these and presented me with one, be a shame to cut it up though.
