Smelly Yeti has not been in here since 9th July but Longstrider was on last Monday

My sincerest apologies ... My wife was struck down with the dreaded Covid just after JAK arrived and I've done very little since but work and tend to the invalid. I have JAK safe and sound, He'll be out with me on Friday, all fettled and sharpened and by Saturday will be ready to leave Longstrider Towers and head to the next on the list.

Having just managed to secure a new permission on and around a Free Range Chicken farm my mate and I were expecting great things for Friday evening. We had been assured that despite the fact that the sheds were empty due to a refurb, that foxes were still in abundance and we'd be in for some serious shooting. We set up shop at the rear of one of the chicken sheds and put the caller out for Charlie.....

Not a ruddy thing !

I had taken JAK along (with his nice new shiny sharp edge) for some heroic action shots, but in the end all he came in for was to open the packet of biscuits we shared whilst waiting.
My mate took a shot of JAK in the evening sun which he'll post up soon on my behalf.

I will now re-pack JAK and send him on to the Smelly Yeti. He should be in the post Monday or Tuesday.

JAK posted yesterday onwards to Smelly Yeti via RMSD so should be with him today.

JAK just arrived safely today in North East Scotland! Will try to make sure he gets a good outing & not dull the keen edge he undoubtedly now has after his stay with Longstrider!!
