Thank you Smelly Y and thank you for the personal note too.Gents - massive apologies for missing all this but just to let you know JAK is safe & on his way back to KimH as we speak!
No excuses but it seemed it was my turn for life’s curve ball to take a hit which has taken all of my time & energy of late hence lack of activity.
Again - apologies for any worries caused. SY
Kim it is wonderful to read from those that have been along for the ride with JAK. I can see that there are a few more old softies like me in the journal lol.Ready to go, I'm waiting for details to forward OLE JAK to Ireland
Details of current book content sent to the family...
Good to see you join the club mate and I wish you and JAK both well...warm barrels. The 2nd of September 2021 I put my name forward to take JAK to Ireland.

You would be hard pressed to find a nicer drop.I spoke to David`s lady last week, she is still too emotional for me to give her updates.
We will all be worse when things settle a little more and travel to the place of rest and open the bottle that my kids and I presented to him on his 70th. Shot glasses, toasts and tears.
It was sent from London and engraved with our names and the final time I saw David he gave me the unopened bottle back. Its been secure in a gun safe since then. As you can see there is a bit of age in the bottle.
Btw he refused to open the bottle unless I was with him and due to certain circumstances we never did.
Salute you Old Bastard.
