Deer Chillers - Scotland

Hi Guys,

Any idea where to get a reasonable priced deer chill in scotland? Looking for maybe a really big drinks chiller or something. I have looked at the big purpose built stainless ones in the adverts but there a bit out of my price range and a bit much for my recreational needs.

The drinks fridges seem to get snapped up really quickly, but I would say try gumtree there is usually some on there for your neck of the woods.

I know of one in Selkirk for sale. I have seen it and in good nick. It was used for for keeping pigs in for a spit roast so will easily accommodate small red, or fallow/sika or 3 or 4 roe. I am sure it was £200. Let me know if you are interested and I will pass on the contact details.

I got my Lucozade double door fridge off eBay. They do come up, but you need to be careful as I had to spend an additional £140 on seals...

Still a great bit of kit though

Here you go - Liverpool, but it's only a van ride away - 2 hours to go (ends 21:15 5th Nov), and only £52!

Its a bit of graft but you just need to keep checking ebay, patience is a virtue......and lets face it, there is no need to rush buying one at this time of year.

....maybe ask Comet what they are going to do with the drinks chillers in their staff rooms

I use a tall larder fridge, big enough for 2 Roe. Cost me £50 out of Scotads.
