Deer Feeders

Evening All,
I am wondering if anybody of the keepering/Stalking profession have ever come across manufactured feeders for deer, something that can be shifted about relatively easily.

I have had some information from a friend regarding constructing a timber feeder but just wondered if there were any manufactured items about?

Thanks in advance.

Cheers

I've only ever seen sheep troughs used in deer parks for nuts, sometimes hay from cattle jobs, the off the ground types. Nothing deer specific though.

These pipe feeders are very easy to use,and not much waste once they start using them.Bruised barley and some flaked maize through it and plenty using them just now. Also made some of old 25l drums.28617203_10215299385705710_7812400333784153124_o.webp

Evening lads,

I should of given more information.

It will be hay and silage that will be in the feeders for reds and roe.

Not in Britain but southern Germany but the location shouldn't really matter, there are boar about also so it will need to be robust.

Cheers

Excellent! All the more reason to make sure they are firmly attached to a large tree, pylon etc. Will they not eat wheat? If so you would be amazed how long spring feeders can stretch - once!

home made but if he wishes too buy, standard castellated ring feeders for farm supplies.
