Deer fridge conversion.

Contributing to the fridge conversion threads. Combined a few methods I’ve seen on here for my own. Very ‘keep it simple stupid’ approach.

Bought a second hand fridge last night (£150, air flow cooling, 180cm tall). Purchased 12mm plywood sheet, 25mm tube, two circular brackets (£40). Measured up, cut all parts shape and put an old climbing clip on the rail and slotted it in. Done.

Not glued to sides, the width of the pole holders the frame tight to the sides so it can be removed to clean the fridge. I prep the carcass on a gambrel, then just move it to the clip on the rail to hang.

Hope it’s generates ideas for others.

Many ways to engineer a fix. I don't like using timber inside a chiller-fridge, have you tested yours for a weight limit? Stokbord works well and is a hygienic solution.

good effort and tidy, but have to agree with the no plywood camp. it will get damp and mouldy.

That Gram fridge is going well :tiphat:

Modified your arrangement to fit my sliding channel system in it so I can load heavy carcasses without any lifting 🤗
