Deer Society/ SNH meeting at Creag Meagaidh today.

Hello all

A grand first "get together" for the Deer Society was held at Creag Meagaidh today ( Google it ) - - like minded folks ( a few from SD ) had an interesting day and a bit o' banter. A good explanation about what they're doing there and trying to achieve, Larder skills and a bit o' target practice on their new range was the agenda. I thoroughly enjoyed the whole day and I'm looking forward to the next time I can get along. A big thankyou to the guys there who made us feel so welcome ( on a Sunday !) and to Mike Cottam SNH/Deer Society for organising.

Highly recommended if you get a chance - - plenty more events are coming off.
