It always struck me as a bit weird when I found out that the final battle scenes of Full Metal Jacket were filmed around Beckton Gas Works in London's East End ............ actually , after being in a few punch ups in the old East End when I was younger , it does make sense now I think about it .

The author appears to be a mouthpiece come fanboy for the Invasive Species Council.

Fancy and official title they've given themselves, but a group (?) lacking in rigour and credibility regarding deer management.

We do have large numbers in some areas, which can cause problems in some areas, but, for example, according to insurance company stats, skippy still greatly outnumbers deer in collisions with cars. And yet - try to get a permit to thin skippy numbers out and you'll have all sorts of bureaucratic obstructions.
