Deer tray/box for SUVs

Can you use one of these hoists up on to your heck pack? It’s just a wooden strutt with eyes bolted each end and a block and tackle.

I have just been perusing the web after getting another fallow last weekend. Anyhow, I came across this which seems to cover a lot of what I think I would like.
For me it is all about picking the fallow up and put it, either into my box, which I can strap to the plate, or wrap the deer in a tarp and strap direct to the tray. It is not an issue when there are 2 people but, when on my own, I need way of getting bigger deer home.
I have been looking at putting some sort of a winch on my heck basket and having a ramp to winch it up. As I have said previously, I am not built like a brick sh1t house so need to figure out a decent solution.

Just looks all wrong. Arm is too long, hook attachment too weak, platform looks prone to twisting. Frankly, I wouldn’t chance it personally, I think you’ll be disappointed 🙁

This is more like what I was thinking

True, but the idea is what I was thinking of. However,
I then came across this; Heck-Pack Hand Cable Winch for Tow Bar Mounted Carriers in the GRUBE shop
And I think it is things like this that VSS needs to consider with his design.
Look at the basic design and find the ways to add value to his product. Actually, I am thinking that this accessory is better than the vevor way of doing it.

What do you drive mate?

I am a skinny sod so struggle to lift a 80kg fallow into the back of the pickup. I cut an old section of heavy duty ladder down so it fits the bed of the pickup. I fit a 9mm ply board on the ladder, fallow in a plasterers bath, ladder at angle on tail gate, slide bath up and this allows me to push the tub and fallow in without a huge amount of effort. Pickup back is high so the angle is steep but still fairly easy and I only weight 65 (ish) kg lol
