True, always a possibility SD - another weird case this one I'll actually grab internal photos of.
Nearside leg being the furthest back I shot on that so exit is a touch back accounting she probably wasn't perfectly broadside but such a miniscule angle if any.
Entrance has four if not five ribs shattered in a row like the bullets almost skiffed down the side of her, it obviously hadn't but I'm having a weird experience with this gun, as mentioned Its not unusual for the .243 but I've never previously had issues with it and the zero is still correct, just unlucky I supose especially for this doe I did nothing wrong and she died no differently than any other, just weird shot abnormality on the carcass.
I did miss a deer directly after shooting this doe, but I do believe that was just my end (I've not missed a deer in near 30 now, so bound too happen)
