Shot a pair of fallow the other night. One of them had diarrhea. Fully inspected the carcass to ensure no other defects or issues and could not find any diesease present. It all checked out okay and healthy. What could be the cause of the diarrhea? Is the carcass fit for consumption?

I was previously told that fresh spring grass and a lack of the needed bacteria in the stomach for digestion can lead to very runny effluent.
