Just noticed these in one of the e-mags

Sony unveils world's first digital binoculars - Technology

I'm not suggesting they are great for stalking just a look at how technology is moving, I suppose if it had a built in range finder and I.R lamp who knows??

They look good, and I like the geo-tagging facility. Can't see why they wouldn't be ideal for stalking, though they might need a bit of ruggedisation to stand up to the average stalker handling.
