I was looking for a box to transport deer in their fur up to 3h or so and keep them cool. Most likely wont have been lardered beforehand
More than £300 for the igloo a friend has so off to Argos to find. £23 Strata box to start with...

175l box
The question is how to insulate it.....and does it need "breathing" holes
I have thought of expanding foam (low expansion) messy and probably expensive , 25mm foam boards wrapped in duct tape (would crack or need several panels), 3 or 4 layers of 5mm foam thermal lining paper.....
Any ideas? Normally use a similar box with the deer packed with ice in bags from supermarket sealed in zip lock bags with lid slightly open to avoid condensation and drive with the AC on full blast
Im not keen on ticks etc all over the car so wondered if I could keep the lid on. The pre cooled igloo one is excellent in that respect
I know could bite the bullet and part with the cash or only shoot deer on cold days but where is the fun in that when I could waste time messing about in the garage?
