No that photograph was taken at the new location for the game fair, in 2018. It does however show the same ammunition that was used previously when we first visited the fair when it was at Chambord.

That's old enough indeed. The new bottles since about 2022 have flip up tops which can be a PITA.
 
Find two trees in front of a good backstop. Set up a wire with a bit of gradient.

Take a piece of cheap ply. Add a pully block on each corner. Hang it on the wire.

Make sure it runs down under its own weight.

Add a long piece of paracord to pull it back and let it go to set if off.

Yep reckon thats the prototype. Not keen on having operators close to firing line so will work on automation...
 
I know not full bore, but Gamo did a running target system a few years ago for air rifles.

Or what about a Greyhound training setup,
