Dog box alternatives

Barjo are quite good but expensive and don't actually save a lot of the dirt getting into the car as they are a cage - don't rattle though and dont close off the back of the car quite the same as a solid walled box.

Trans K9 do half boot boxes as well so you don't lose all your storage space - however you are still blocking your spare wheel if it is under the floor (as you do with any boxes / crates) - i know from experience.

I had a trans K9 and although it did stop you using the boot for pretty much anything else, it had dogs in it every day for 3 years and i still only lost about £100 off the new price when i sold it. It also stopped a lot of the dirt getting into the car itself.

Teach the dog just to sit nicely in the boot without a cage, been working for me for several decades
That is one bloody old dog. any tips on getting one that is only a few years old to just sit in the back?
