Dog sickness

Hi,

Got an 18 month KG, he became sick on Sunday. Just started chucking up, a clear bile and foamy substance. Wouldn't eat for 24 hours and only wanted to sit in his cage and could tell he was off, the next 2 days this turned to diarrhoea, today everything went back to normal over than a few bits of blood in the stool. My dad had his sister and a day later she went down with exactly the same symptoms, my brothers dog and friends we had visiting on the weekend had similar symptoms. Is it common for 'sickness bugs' to be passed around dogs that are often in close proximity to other dogs I.e beating etc? I suspect this is where this was picked up as we were shooting on the Saturday.

It`s feasible that something was passed around but did they all eat the same at any time?
Main thing is he is on the up and recovering.

They all eat the same brand of food from separate bowls, however share water bowls. Be interesting on Saturday to see if anyone else's dog has been ill.

I can't imagine they would have all eaten something dodged whilst un attended.

Not that I'm aware of and would be strange for the other dogs to show the same symptoms, no way they all would have..
