Dog theft film

Some good craic there. Always have your wits about you because unfortunately dog thieves it appears will do anything, steal from gardens, steal from kennels, snatch dogs when out on walks and even when caught they are, relatively speaking, not getting what they deserve. So it's worth it for them.

So watch this video and make yourself more aware.

Who is actually stealing all of these dogs in the UK and what tf are they doing with them?
It is fuelled by an incredible hike in general for dog prices, which again in general is fuelled by loads of people wanting companionship and a walking buddy in a lockdown where, apart from shopping for essentials the only time you were permitted out of the house was for once daily exercise.

The price of dogs went from around £800 to anything up to £3000 and not only for pedigree Spaniels, Labradors, Alsatians or whatever, but for things like Cockerpoos, handbag dogs and other crosses. So, grab a pregnant bitch or a new litter and you can sell on for around £20,000 more or less! But any dog is an earner and if you are caught, the courts see it as petty property theft and fine you a couple of hundred. Pay that off, get another litter and you are well on the way to your next caravan, full of bling and etched windows, getting the kids new quad bikes to terrorise the neighbourhood and a new Mercedes to swish about with and show off your chunky gold bracelet on the driver's door, window down .

Hopefully now there's been a fair bit of stuff in the media about it and there have been some reports of multiple dogs recovered from gypsy sites (obviously left there by someone else and they are just looking after the little darlings) and there is a plan afoot to influence lawmakers to enshrine in law that stealing family pets for many can be devastating and deserves appropriate action by the courts.

True story this .The builders yard I frequent has an Alsatian running free .He’s a big lad ,very well mannered but he does not like horseplay amongst adults .Sees it as trigger to react I guess .We all know it ,the owner knows it but newcomers not so .
I was there one day last month when a truck pulls up ,4 lads get out and two start to tease the dog with a stick .
Irish accents so no guesses as to their occupations 😩
The owner stated to watch the dog as it was clear he was getting a tad wound up .
They bought nothing ,turned around in the yard but stopped ,one jumped out and scooped up the dog in his arms ,in the truck and off they sped .Brave move yes but the story dosnt end with an unrecovered dog lol.100yards down the road the truck stops suddenly and out jumps the ally .The dog runs back .
Plenty of cursing from within and off they go .
Nothing is heard until yesterday when a regular ,decent travelling type says to the owner that the dog had bit all four miscreants ,one badly .
The dog is now elsewhere .
Justice was served that day .
