Driven boar rifles ......

Yes I’ve slugged the bores on both rifles so know what I’ve actual got. I’m using one of the cheap Lee molds at the moment which is only giving me a thou at best over groove diameter. I’ll invest in a quality mold at +.460” in due time.

The last lot of bullets I bought came from Dodgyrog at Rising Sun bullets , I told him my exact bore size and the correct ones appeared . Spot on.

350 grain interlocks worked well for my rifle in .45-70, as do the 405 hard cast bullets you can buy I use them over 13 grains of trailboss, it’s like a .45 special load and certainly don’t kick as much as the full power loads out of my sbl

I recently enquired about a short semi weight barrel in 30-06, 9.3x62, and 8x68. Just try getting one in the UK. Special order, which I'm not prepared to do, given their current performance.

I'm going to the factory in a few weeks, and I'll see what I can dig out

we are having no problem getting them order to day get them in 2/3 days

Checked again a few days ago, Blaser have quoted circa 6 months for delivery ! There doesn't appear to be a single short semi-weight barrel in .30 cal + in the UK

I'm going out to the factory on the 21st, so Ill get a better idea of what's happening.
