Drone pro on Sako 591

Evening gents.Thinking of putting a drone pro on a Sako 591.Scope on at present but I seem to recall that the action is not tapped for a rail fitting.Anyone with experience of this combination.Suggestions would be appreciated.Richard.

I have a Tikka 695 which is basically the same as the Sako and I got a picatinny rail for it and mount the drone pro on to it with no problems at all. The drone is a quick release which holds zero well when refitted, so I also have my daytime scope in quick release rings so I can change from one to the other when I like.

I have a m591 left handed and I have a drone on it ....contact Alan Rhône and buy the rail with inference fit mounts that basically wedge onto the dovetails .....I have a foxfirearms scope 4x16x50 in Warner maxima QD rings and I swap back and forth between the drone and day scope no problems or loss of zero .

I've had reason to call in to Alan Rhone in the past. They don't have a shop, but I called ahead and they were more than happy for me to pop over to purchase directly from their warehouse. They were incredibly helpful and friendly.
