Does anyone know of a local DSC1 (Harrogate / North Yorkshire) course? Can’t find anything current online, just last courses from previous years. Cheers
I did mine with a block he is near thimbleby down with the A19. His name is Ben. He is on his site as the flying fishermen. Hope that helps. Thanks BlueyHello,
Short answer is Yes, but I suspect too soon for you...... 4 day DSC1 starts tomorrow (Thur 20/02/25) at Askham Bryan College with Range assessment near Harrogate. This is the second course, first one was a couple of weeks ago. The plan is to deliver more DSC1 courses local to here as you have seen no one else seems to be delivering local to Harrogate or North Yorkshire where I am based. We do a full course with choice of pre study guides either paper or electronic or both! and then formal, structured classroom based inputs with BASC as the DMQ Assessment Center. For individuals funding themselves we do a 25% discount from the full "estate/ business" rate. We are also learning providers under the Forestry and Arboriculture Training Fund where if awarded a full grant can pay 100% of the course fees......
Long answer in the end but please visit the website www.gladedeermanagement.co.uk for further details and next dates etc
Thanks,
Barry
