DSC1 Notes

I thought this might be useful for people getting started and studying for DSC1. It covers the areas I needed to revise more. Areas of focus taken from the DSC1 Question Bank and answers taken from multiple sources including this website, BDS guides, and the Best Practice guides available online. There may be mistakes in there but nobody is perfect!

I did my DSC1 a few months back now (and passed), but this is getting printed and put in the folder.
Well laid out 👍🏼

Good job.

One or two enhancements if we are putting it in the public domain?

On diseases add Blue Tongue and Chornic Wasting Disease. Also emphasise the point that if a notifiable disease is suspected then the deer should not be gralloched as it is a health hazard (obviously) the only exception is TB as it can only be identified during the gralloch.

I think.

Excellent. Would make a good poster for the wall

Thanks, I'm finished with it now so probably won't be updating it again anytime soon. If I get around to it I'll upload again.

Dave, this is excellent - well done. I have quickly made a few changes to correct primarily the Notifiable Diseases and the odd typo - hope you don't mind. I'd attach the ammended version if I could work out how you managed to insert a pdf - I cannot fathom it! Any advice?
