DSC1 Notes

Hopefully, this should be it!
Not wanting to be a pedant, but am I allowed to point out a typo?

"If suscipious, do not gralloch and seek advice".

Also I presume "Excessive Salvation" should be "Excessive salivation" :-|

While you're at it, can you perhaps update it to "Cervus Elaphus" as well?

By all means send me the original if you'd prefer me to do it.

:coat:Trying to edit a pdf with none of the usual word tools on a day when our IT systems were having a bad day was not easy🥲 In slower time I’ll review and correct.
Please don't get me wrong; I am full of admiration for both you and @Dave31 :tiphat:

My work colleagues get infuriated with my pedantic nature when it comes to written communication.......sadly I can't help myself.

Haha, any of the spelling mistakes I made were entirely due to me cramming in as much information in a short space of time! I'm happy to be picked up so we get a decent resource for everyone to use.

Been there and got the T-shirt! Posting a document or article can be a truly thankless task, as no matter how many times you check the document beforehand the Gremlins will always sneak something in. I always take corrections as a positive sign that at least someone is bothering to read what I've written!

Then just remember Muphry's Law, which states that "If you write anything criticising editing or proofreading, there will be a fault of some kind in what you have written." :)

This was subsequently elaborated to the following:

"Muphry's Law also dictates that, if a mistake is as plain as the nose on your face, everyone can see it but you. Your readers will always notice errors in a title, in headings, in the first paragraph of anything, and in the top lines of a new page. These are the very places where authors, editors and proofreaders are most likely to make mistakes."

Yes, I definitely end up going blind to mistakes in my own work. Just glad others have found it useful enough to read.

Thanks Dave, one more at the very bottom in the Rut section of table what does "P-Oct" mean in "Sep-Nov P-Oct"?

Probably October or Pregnant in October?

Peak in October. I wrote it out to try and answer the DSC1 Question Bank so I think there was a question regarding that. Maybe. It was a few months ago!
