Just a quick one if you do your dsc1 do you still have to do the lantra hygiene certificate to be able to sell to the game dealer

That or the NGO one. Or go on to do DSC2.

BDS do the Lantra certificate as an add on to the DSC1 or you can go on to do the DSC2 as stated above.

Depends how long ago you did your DSC1. It's only about a year ago (or maybe two) that the Large Game Meat Hygiene element was moved from DSC1 to DSC2.

Yes, you will have to have a Large Game Meat Hygiene certificate in order to sell to an AGHE (game dealer).
Formerly part of DSC1, it's now included in DSC2. Or you can do it as a standalone course with other providers, such as LANTRA.
DSC1 on its own is no longer sufficient, if you did it after the change.

From my DSC1 last year, the LANTRA add on was around £90 as some people opted to add it to their course there and then.
