You've got me worried now!! I'm doing DSC1 in Hampshire in April - better start getting some practise. Having too much fun with my 'scatter gun' at the moment...

i got mine 2 days after paying the deposit. i wouldnbt worry too much, just read and read. the books very interesting though so it wont be a chore to look through.
