DSC2 advice

I passed my DSC1 8 years ago but a change in circumstances meant I had to give up shooting. I am now returning and need a path to lead to my DSC2. I am joining a syndicate, 2000 acres on 2 sites. How best to proceed??

I doesn’t say in your post much about experience, so i would assume you know what your doing, i which case register with the DMQ, pay your dues.
They will issue you with contacts for AWs (Approved Witness), go out with them stalk and shoot a deer in season on his or your ground, answer some questions relevant to deer stalking, The portfolio goes to an assessor he or she will give you a ring and ask some more relevant questions.
May i ask why you need?
I happen to think its a good thing to do if you want to.

Hi, I don’t need the DSC2. I can join my friend’s syndicate with my DSC1. It would be purely for my own personal development.

frank if you want to do dsc 2 go for it . i would get a couple of stalks in with a guide who's a aw and you can go over the relevant points with him
regards tom
