It's a crazy situation, but it's all the way the EU and Irish insisted it must be. The UK certainly got no concession whatsoever over this.I suspect that we’re going to end up as collateral damage to the NI/UK Brexit row, our stuff still travels through the UK to the EU market.
It’s going to be a complete balls up.
Seems increasingly the EU is just there to inflict pain on its citizens.
All completely unnecessary over a small amount of trade which favours the Irish anyway, Irish meat and dairy being cheaper to produce. Never been quite sure why the difference, given the same rules apply.
