Hi any one use ear protection for there K9 , I take my two dogs to the range with me they normally stay in the car about 20 yards from firing point but recently started to think about impact of noise. If you do use ear protektion for your K9 what's the product you use and any feed back on use quality ?

Our 3 yr cocker went blind 18 months ago so got him a set of Rex Specs - the same brand also do a set of hearing protection that slides over the dogs head. Used by military in US and UK extensively.
We never used them as not needed, but did try them on our older sprocker - he looked a bit confused why he was wearing them but build quality and feel was very good!
Good brand overall and would recommend - just check sizing before you buy as needs to be fairly tight.

Hope that helps,

ATB Sandy

My pal who is a German forester used normal set of old human ear defenders on his BMH when in a high seat as his rifle is unmoderated and his previous dogs went very deaf very young.

Reminds be of the old joke about getting the unruly dog 'balanced'. Balancing? what's that?........It sorts out all unruly dogs......How do you do it?........Put a piece of lead in each ear.......................And how do you do that?.....With a bloody shotgun
