Not great pictures but I got them back in the post today they were like a new pair of binoculars and rangefinder working perfect again. I can't complain about swarovski customer service anyway.

a large part why people buy Swarovski.
I’ve had brilliant service from them as well.
Glad you did too.

I sent stuff back to Swarovski years ago and it took them 6 weeks to grease a o-ring. Not quite the legendary service you frequently hear of.
So they have a lot of work on and the lead time is 6 weeks for them to pork on stuff, am sure it didn’t take 6 weeks to grease an irony, or are you suggesting your BIO and jump the Que ? I think it’s a bit naughty slagging the customer service because you didn’t jump ahead of everyone else
Remember that not all Swarovski servicing repairs are free, when I sent my ELs back which I’d owned from new, they required a new ocular lens (due to a very small scratch) and total cost came to about £200.
Far less than the cost of a replacement pair but far more than I expected given the number of free services posted on SD.
That said I’ve since had 2 scopes serviced foc so it’s a case of sending your Swarovski item in and taking it from there.
So you scratched the lens and expected a free replacement ?
The legendary service of most these top European manufacturers are just chucking a few small trinkets at owners to keep them happy. Getting a free lens cover worth about 40p isn't worth the RRP of the product in the first place. Spending an extra £1500 on some binos or a scope and getting (at cost) a free service or two worth a few hundred quid is hardly a win.

I'll stand by for all the incoming flack now as people rush to defend their spending😂
What a load of rubbish, it’s not just trinkets, I managed to break a scope, totally no fault of swaro, they had its back and carried out over £500 of repairs FOC.
I also know a guy sent his ancient rf bins in, years outside the warranty, fixed FOC.
that’s not trinkets, that’s one hell of customer service to get that from any company when they were not liable for picking up the cost, show me another company that does that.
So what’s all this nonsense about an extra £1500 for trinkets 🤣 they cost £1500 more than vortex because they are so much better glass, I have both, swaro **** all over vortex, sure they are good, but swaro are better. An element is paying for the name, wait till vortex have the same name and watch thier prices increase, right now swaro have the name, and it would seem for a very good reason.

For the record it seems mine and everyone I know has taken a 6 ish week turnaround

Zeiss sent me free lens covers for a scope when I asked if I could buy some, that was a little trinket.

When the RF function broke on my £600+ range finder they told me it wasn't cost effective to repair so the option was buying a new one or using them as a giant monocular. No help what so ever. That's my personal experience so not "rubbish" at all. I'm glad you've had a better experience but not everyone has.

For me it's a case of once bitten twice shy especially when spending (what to me) is a lot of money. I don't need to spend an extra £1500 for marginally better glass for an extra 10 minutes of visible light, I've got a thermal and add on NV for that which are far better and more useable than any top glass.

Not sure where I slagged anything. Merely a statement of fact. Relax.

No, they were sent for a service and Swarovski recommended putting in a new ocular lens albeit at additional expense.

The point I was making was that not all Swarovski servicing is free of charge.

Send your Swarovski kit and take your chances.

Sounds like you had a good luck experience with your scope.

Not all Swarovski experiences or opinions are equal.

Well lads I'm going to test Swarovski customer service again in the morning was out this morning ranged a deer at 148 yards ranged another what looked to be about 200 yards further and nothing but 4 lines ranged the one at 148 again.
Very same as the last time anything past about 300 nothing anything under only every now and again. I felt like picking up the nearest stone and smashing them to pieces to be honest.
Has anyone had this problem before and had it again after they were repaired. I have to say I can't fault swarovski service the last time but I'm not going to be sending them back every few months to be fixed.
They got absolutely no hardship since I got them back no bangs no knocks no falls.
