Have you tried contacting element, they should be able to help, the scopes have a lifetime warranty, so will sort it. I've just picked up a helix hdlr and the warranty was one of the reasons I went for it.

have you unscrewed the top cap and realigned the turret cap so it sit into the groves then refit the top to hold the cap in place ? if you have tried that then send element optics an e-mail and they will sort it ,good company to deal with .

I have had excellent experience with Element customer support. Email them with details.

Let us know how you get on with Optics Warehouse and your return... As said the lifetime warranty from ELEMENT is one of the selling points so hopefully you get it back and can enjoy it soon!!

You could have pulled the turret and removed the ring, cleaned the area and ring with an alcohol wipe and then put a couple dabs of glue on the ring and put it in place. Let it dry over night and you’d be able to shoot the next day.

SWFA had that issue with the 3-9s when they updated the font on their turrets and people just glued them back in place.

I had the same issue with a Steiner - the elevation turret wouldn't allow me to dial down at all. Thought about fixing it myself but decided to send it to GMK and off to Germany to get it properly fixed under warranty.

Surely doing this would void any warranty claim, and as its a lifetime warranty id just let them deal with it personally...
