Sold: Emberleaf knife blade blank

I believe that this is a knife blade blank made by Emberleaf and used for some reason to practice etching?

Feels like a very nice blank to me.

I don't know what it might be worth, but this isn't Ebay, so I will put a value of £15 plus postage to anyone who wants it.

Overall length is 22cm. Blade is 2.5cm wide.

Good then you will have a sharp knife which will save you filling in the tags and get the heads and feet off next time you turn up at mine lol

Worth it just for the profile to copy on to a piece which will harden. Saves a lot of time and I have seen the chaps stuff he makes so it will get put to good use.

Years ago I had a paper profile of a fox I made a steel copy and the paper copy went to 46 SD members it was good fun seeing who had it next. Same with the blank.

Because it is a non-hardening steel, it is just 316 stainless steel, not tool steel.

It is, it just won’t be a sharp knife

It will make for a terrible knife, several were made in a cheap material so we could use it to site artwork and tune our laser. It needs to go back to the scrap yard where it was found.

I will be sure to saw any vaguely knife-shaped objects in half going forward, and use a different scrappy!

I still got a Card copy of both
