Environmental & Conservation Volunteering

Afternoon all,

The company I work for allocates us 2 days a year volunteering on top of our annual leave (which I have never used before).

One of the catergories you can take time off for is Environmental Work & Conservation Projects.

Is there anybody here on any currently involved in such areas as deer management, maybe on a syndicate, keepering, land rewilding that would be open to a couple of days free help?

North Wales/North Shropshire border based but can travel a reasonable distance.

Prior to retirement I used such days for either tree planting and/or litter picking from the Thames c/o a RIB.

Guess in hindsight I could have just gone deerstalking but then I was already doing that on the days when "working from home/remotely"!

Thought I might as well do something with them.

A girl at work volunteered on a charity stall at a music festival. Free entry, 5 hours work a day and the rest of the afternoon free.
