Not that I'm knocking anyone's choices and I certainly do (sort of) support a zero tolerance attitude to intollerance. I am very supportive of them and all the good work they do.

A friend once told me that in his country (France) it is said. "There are only two noble jobs for a man... farmer or soldier" ... I farm.

I know what you mean about being a bit gay. I do a lot of shooting with pirate hunter who started this thread.
When I told him Swarovski make fantastic gear for stalking, he went and bought himself some new crystal earrings and a neckless.

Careful there matt... I'm sure he looked utterly fetching too... but it seems that being tolerant of gayish ways is likely to lead to editing on grounds of use of "discriminatory" language....

ps. I have a Schmidt und "Bender" scope ... should I be concerned?

So you decided against leaving the site after all then Tom? I trust my work load isn't going to go up as a consequence? ;)

Nothing's ever over till it's over.

Why would your work load go up? ..... all the pm's I get are from good lads that enjoy a laugh and quite like to see things put correctly when insanity seems to have taken over. You'd perhaps be surprised at just how many friends I've made here.

You could still do with taking the trouble to properly understand the Deer acts though. In fact, understanding law in general seems to challenge a lot of folk whether it's the deer acts, the firearms acts or the animal welfare acts under which we must all operate.

Ignorance is no defence and the law is blind... I believe Mrs Nightingale has been told these things too. Though personally, I blame the press for cruelly, manipulating people and attempting to sway government with tomorrows fish supper wrappers... c'est la vie.

yep i'm still serving but I've only got 18 months left until reach my 22 yrs end date and then i'll be a civi whoop! whoop!. I'll have to get a proper job.
