So my application was sent to Police Scotland on the 15th December 2025.
ive just had my certificate through my door today.
i also bare in mind they woukd have a shutdown period over xmas and new year ,so say 12 weeks total which i cant complain at all at personally.
pretty swift from police Scotland. very helpful all the way through the process and my FEO was always swift at replying to any questions.
i was dreading the whole process reqding of some horror stories in the south!!

Honestly nice to hear that someone isn't having a horrid experience, well done to police Scotland for having their sh*t together!

its actually been a breeze mate and i couldn't be happier with the service recieved from day 1 to now.
An email today to my FEO just to say id recieved my papers and evwn then she said if anything was needing adjustments or sorting to let her know and she would sort it ASAP which i found refreshing.
