Was he shooting his .222?Met him once at a Game Conservancy rifle shoot at Santon Downham army range years ago, he turned up in a Morris pickup truck in ripped jeans & a checked shirt, he looked like something out of Deliverance, competition was hot, with the tweed clad Sandringham, Holkham & Sennowe park keepers. He wiped the board, was given a bottle of whiskey by the CO, & down it in one before roaring off in a cloud of dust. Last I heard he was going through a messy divorce, set fire to his farm & house, left his kids & wife penniless & homeless, & was last seen in the Fleshpots of Marrakesh ! A thoroughly despicable man. Bloody good shot though.
I didn't want to get to close to him, he kept snarling at everybody, not sure what the gun was though, some rusty old thing with baler twine for a strap, festooned with crow feathers & gaffer tape. I was under the impression that he hadn't had a bath in ages. Was he shooting his .222?
Interesting character.
I got the impression he was going through tough times from his last few posts.
I hope he is doing ok![]()
Doubt it, once you sell your soul to those Pagan Gods there is never ever any turning back, may the good Lord lead him to forgiveness that he may find peace in his wicked troubled mind.Has he returned under a different name?
I think so... he used to put a few pictures on here of his favourite fox shooting field/position... and somebody else has posted a remarkably similar picture onceHas he returned under a different name?

As @Tim.243 mentioned in an earlier thread, the style of someone's posts is like a fingerprint. It doesn't take long to spot the returnees.I think so... he used to put a few pictures on here of his favourite fox shooting field/position... and somebody else has posted a remarkably similar picture once![]()
I chatted to him a few times as he asked me for my number, he wanted advice on how to have a part repaired, his ground had a natural corridor for deer from what he said, small farm divorce aging mother was what he spoke about, had a few good chats which were fine. Met a few people like that over the years but did me no harm.As @Tim.243 mentioned in an earlier thread, the style of someone's posts is like a fingerprint. Posting a picture that was previously posted under another name helps eliminate any lingering doubt.
