Graziers battling dry and 'thousands' of kangaroos forced to destock
The pressure from a lack of rain, feral goats, and kangaroos forces graziers across rural New South Wales to destock their properties.
goats/camels/donks/buff/pigs are all foreigners mate..`roos are "austrayun" and attract sympathy from the ones FB mentioned above.Presume no chance the Gubbernuts will allow hitting the 'Roos hard
100`s of 1000`s of them?Grey squirrels and badgers for a start.
Pine martins and beavers soon.
D
Grey Squirrels (Treerats) yes, I dread to think actually how many there are in total.100`s of 1000`s of them?
Thats great too. Surely if every SD member shot 100 each every year there must be a dent of an enormous size.I’ve shot well over 200 this year now
Not really, drought is the worst but they simply migrate to where there is more feed. Its a big place and they can go many many miles. Is there a tipping point at which overpopulation leads to die-offs? Every so often we have a winter bad enough to kill tens if not hundreds of thousands of animals which seems to balance the numbers.
