Feral / wild goat in Northern Ireland

Can someone please tell me more about wild goat legal issues are they classed as vermin or game .can they be shot under a lamp ie at night .

Hi Pete I love hunting wild goats I was over in Ireland this year hunting them , you can shot them all year round but give them the respect they deserve they are great quarry to hunt .

Im just going to take one to try it .if myself and family dont like it i wont shoot anymore ..

if you are going to eat them only shoot the young ones, and stay away from the billies for eating the smell taints the meat and its tough.
