Was the deer injured any idea what caused the malform. I’ve seen one similar a mate shot years ago but not as pronounced.

I would rather stalk that hang it on the wall or even mount than any medal.
It's almost like sculpture, the textures, colours and forms are stunningly beautiful.

I recommend Ballistol trophy bleach; cheap, effective and of no interest to the bomb squad. Beware the instructions on the tub which are incorrect, recommending about 6x more than is needed. Awesome head!
