Very nice, the chap that does my heads in Frome (LRM Taxidermy) took them to be measured for me, then mounted them.Nice... I'm not really "into" heads but I do have a lovely munty here that I need to get scored at some point. Do you have to send them somewhere, or what?
Shot him with @Munty_Hunter
Anyone care to guesstimate?

I’d say so!Might be worth me getting these measured then.
A lot of key rings there TimHere are some left out around the back of the farm to break down with the birds using the hair (for nests) and eating the maggots.View attachment 443340
+1 for Paddy's (LRM Taxidermy) servicesVery nice, the chap that does my heads in Frome (LRM Taxidermy) took them to be measured for me, then mounted them.
You just need to find someone local to you and go scores them, CIC seems to be the preference.
And yet I would treasure a malform more than a medal 6 point! Here's some not worth measuring![]()

Sorry to hear thatHe did some whole heads for me because I wanted to sell them in Germany but he disposed of the lower jaws which are important in Germany for aging them.
When I asked where they were he just looked at me and said I didn't ask for them !! I didn't true, but I thought the whole head included the lower jaw so now I am stuck with four good heads but no jaws lying around in my shed and don't know what to do with them as I don't want to cut them as I have enough antlers on shields already.

He showed me that too, the head was something else and the cast was just like the real thing.Sorry to hear that
To be fair, Paddy has always asked me whether I want the lower jaws to age - invariably I say no as he has seen more heads that I'll ever see and I'm very happy to take his views on age.
Always best to be be clear on what you want done as Paddy's "bill of fare" is extensive. Staggered to see his recent cast of a UK top X roe buck head so that the owner could have the cape mounted with the casts and the skull preserved with the original antlers. Great artisan![]()
