First Aid kit contents

All good suggestions - maybe ad some training especially if intending to use a tourniquet and or celox dressings as it's possible to do some real damage to a person. Our club does emergency first aid and a module on serious trauma like gun shot wounds and deep cuts

Yes i wouldn't start using TQs, Celox, Chest Seals etc without training.

I have all sorts in my day sack that goes pretty much everywhere with me from Pressure Bandages, Celox, Chest Seals, TQs to Nasopharyngeals and Oropharyngeals.

My over the top approach comes from my mum falling off her bike around the corner and impaling her thigh on the brake lever. Fortunately I was able to stop the bleed with nothing but elevation and direct pressure but when she got to the hospital we found she had nicked the artery and a few mm further across and I'd probably have struggled to stop it with no kit, despite having all the training.

A first aid ,forestry course will include tourniquet and celox use ,pointless carrying the gear without.
As said you can do more harm than good if you don't know what your doing.
Israeli bandage and tourniquet are a must as are decent waterproof plasters .
Watch and practice with whatever gear you buy ,you tube is your friend.

For the minor stuff

some finger cots if you are prone to cutting your thumb (like a teeny condom to go over your plaster otherwise it lasts less than 2 mins)

fine tip tweezers for blackthorn & ticks etc

Vaseline - lips blisters etc

Moleskin - blisters

For the major stuff
Pen paper for notes

Israeli bandage or whatever you feel most confident with
