Dog first Aid kit

Looking at buying or putting together a first aid kit for the dogs ( they are mainly used for all forms of shooting and beating) to keep in the van. Does anyone know a decent one to buy or what would be best bits to get to make my own.

Thanks

I keep any out of date equipment from human first aid kits when they require replacement and have a good stash for the dogs should the need arise. A basic human one with some extra vet wrap will suffice, worth having antihistamine tablets if you’re anywhere where adders might be a problem.

I have a basic human one plus vet wrap, tick puller, leucillin anticeptic spray, clotit powder and a kronch bar. Everything has been useful at some point for my dogs and other peoples!

Looks decent

A basic human kit, but remember to include a head torch / ordinary torch and in my case my spare reading glasses !

I also carry cutters for barbed wire and a knife.
100% we actually had a dog get stuck in brambles recently, dog was fine but he was right stuck in it.

I had to cut a spaniel free from brambles and barbed wire once, hence I learned the hard way.
The dog was fine which was the important bit !
