Fit and competent register - how can I prove i am on it.

Okay, I believe i am on the register having renewed last year when they went digital but I can’t download the email I received due to an issue apple email servers. I spoke to NatureScot licensing last week but their data centre was down so they couldn’t check and this week every one is taking annual leave to take advantage of the long week end.

My question is: Is there any other way to confirm my fit and competent status other than the single email I have received (and should have printed out at the time, oh how I am kicking myself).

I’m a week late starting a contract so this is getting rather professionally embarrassing as I am letting people down.

Any advice gratefully received.

Surely you keep .pdf copies of all your certs on your smart phone? I have a local copy of certs on my smart phone that I can access without having to have an Internet connection. I also have cloud backed copies of the same certificates.

As far as I know, the renewal/grant is just an email, no pdf. I have the pdf from when I originally signed on but that’s out of date. I wasn’t on a contract when I renewed so didn’t think anything of it until a new opportunity came up.
Been chasing it for over a week now.

Print the e-mail as a .pdf when you get access to it, file it and back it up. Have you sent your Fit & Competent information on to anyone else who could perhaps send it back to you?

Was the email sent to a desktop or laptop if so search emails nature scot should come up did on my desk top

If you aren’t needing to submit it then just crack on. You are on the list so fine.

More of a problem if you need to show that you are although any contracts from the last 5 years of the previous one will have the same number on it.

Sorry, I wasn’t clear, I can see the header of the email on one device, but I can’t see the body of it, ie the important bit. It’s a known bug in apple devices.

Try webmail icloud.com/mail , I believe, on a browser. you will need your apple login?

Try forwarding the email to a different email address. You can register a new gmail for free
