FL RESIZING TRICK

just measured all the 308 cases again, absolutely no measureable spring back after 24 hours, it might be a ball ache but leaving the cases in the die for 60 seconds each seems to give more consistant results, well that appears to be the case thus far

Does nobody use Redding neck lube, the graphite powder type ,dip a clean case I it before sizing, reduces friction/drag on both strokes and doesn't gunk up your dies either

i dip my case necks in a camera film pot full of plastic beads and graphite powder before running the expander mandrel into the necks, but not for case resizing

I only use it for neck sizing in Le Wilson dies,I full length size in Forster dies every 5th loading then I use Imperial die wax

felt that dragging the expander out through the case neck required too much force and put un needed stresses on the cases and the press
Have you tried lubbing the expander ball?
I find it makes a big difference.

I used to tumble in corn media, then fl with imperial wax, then rinse in warm soapy water to remove wax, then ultrasonic clean, dry in hotness, then trim, chamfer and debut before using neck mandrels to set internal diameter, before setting neck tension in Le Wilson dies before priming, powder charging and seating bullet... Now I tumble, neck size and deprive in Le Wilson dies, clean flash hole, trim chamfer and debut clean flash hole, prime powder charge and seat bullet, still achieving 0.5moa/100yds
