Ive just turned 75 for the last two years when going beating Ive rubbed my knee with vick sounds daft but it works and cheapAnyone used it? Is it actually any better/different than normal ibuprofen?
It's osteo in my shoulder mate I know that muchFirstly, while turmeric works fine for osteoarthritis, it's counter-indicated for rheumatoid arthritis, so do make sure you know what you're suffering from!
Secondly, very long-term use of turmeric can lead to toxicity. (My mum relied on turmeric for many years to ease her joint pain, and ended up with turmeric poisoning!)
That's the other thing I need to improve on. I'll easily go all day with a coffee in morning & can of pop mid afternoon and that's ALL until a cuppa when I get home at night. I already fast mate.plenty of water

It’s in the daily diet in some counties.Firstly, while turmeric works fine for osteoarthritis, it's counter-indicated for rheumatoid arthritis, so do make sure you know what you're suffering from!

That's probably a bit different from taking a concentrated dose in the form of pills? I don't know the ins and outs of it. Maybe including it in cooking denatures something or changes the way it's absorbed? It’s in the daily diet in some counties.
